We had a great turn out to our Fall Fest this past Saturday. There were 70 people there throughout the afternoon and evening. I want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the great fun and fellowship. I want to especially thank Cleveland and Tammy Patterson who hosted the event and put alot of work into it.
This Sunday will be our Trunk or Treat. Adults decorating trunks will need to park in the east parking lot by the mowing shed. Everyone else is asked to please park in the other parking lots. Children will have opportunity to change into their costumes when the service is over. Please do not wear costumes to the service. We are asking the congregation to bring finger foods and drinks for some fellowship in the annex after the Trunk or Treating is over. There will be prizes for costumes and trunks. I really hope the whole congregation will stay and participate in some form in this great event.
Lads to Leaders
I will be in the annex from 2pm to 4pm for anyone wanting to work on Lads to Leaders events. Mostly for those who would like to work on cards and for those who missed the audio presentation a couple weeks ago. Please let me know on Sunday morning if you will be coming the building that afternoon.
FRIENDS
We will be having our FRIENDS Fall Party at the home of Jimmy and Barbara Hudgins this Friday night at 5:30. At some point during the night we will be talking about what events and get togethers we want to do this next year so bring some thoughts and ideas.
